Dompierre, LLC

Love where you live. End of story.

Dompierre, LLC is South Jersey’s premier full service interior design showroom serving both trade and retail clients in New York, Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey communities for nearly 20 years.

Dompierre opened its new showroom at 17 Roosevelt Blvd., in Marmora, NJ during the summer of 2015. Located just off Exit 25 of the Garden State Parkway, the property had been a residential home. It was built in 1960 and vacant for many years. Owner/Partners, Victor Dompierre and Jack Griffin, purchased the home with a vision of establishing a highly visible business that would be the centerpiece on the busy Upper Township/Ocean City thoroughfare. They refurbished the property and it is now a full service interior design showroom that can not go unnoticed, with its exquisitely landscaped exteriors and meticulously designed interiors.  The showroom features: multiple living rooms, a kitchen, a bedroom, three powder rooms, a fabric room, and a lighting room. Additionally, Dompierre has a complete on-site custom drapery workroom – fabrication and installation is a specialty.

Customers are welcome to meet with designers and explore extensive line samples within the showroom, featuring fabrics, trims, custom window treatments, blinds, shutters, shades, motorization, upholstery, drapery, area rugs, wallpaper, boutique furniture, distinctive lighting, luxury bedding, original artwork and accessories. With over 50 years of experience, Dompierre’s interior design team understands the trends and functionality of each distinctive product line offered. Décor within the showroom can be purchased off the floor. Furthermore, if building a home or business, the Dompierre team offers paint consultation and construction liaison services.

Dompierre design Team

Victor’s talents stem from his parents; he is the son of a factory sewer and a pattern cutter. Victor worked at the Showboat casino for 13 years, designing and fabricating costumes for the casino shows, dressing both the chorus girls and the headliners, and designing for the greeter girls and the public area entertainers. Victor was trained at the Custom Home Furnishing Academy, where he learned the skills that are vital to the home decorating industry. He likes to call himself a master technician of window treatments, but his 16 years of creating window fashions proves he does more than just hanging curtains. On a daily basis you will see Victor in our onsite workroom creating something beautiful and different every day. He might be cutting wood for a tailored cornice or sewing beaded trim to a gorgeous embroidered pillow, but either way he is focused on impeccable work from start to finish.

Jack has a lifelong appreciation of the Arts. Dompierre is his second career in which he uses his experience of attending design conventions, workshops and seminars, as well as hunting for and bidding on antiques, in order to bring style to your space. Jack’s days are spent making sure absolutely everything in is in order. Whether it’s ensuring everything is on track for customer orders, keeping vendors and clients happy or making sure something smells great in the kitchen, Jack is here to make Dompierre a “must have” resource for all your design business. Jack is also actively involved in the local community. He is the President of the Upper Township Business Association, serves on the Upper Township Planning Board, is a prior Board Member of the Upper Township Economic Development Advisory Commission and is the Music and Choir Director at Saint Maximilian Kolbe Parish in Marmora, NJ.

Lisa keeps the workroom on schedule and organized. Tracking every creation from start to finish, working with designers and clients to bring their vision to life, she keeps the workroom humming along and on point. Most recently, Lisa was Dompierre's lead designer for the 2018 Cape May Designer Show House located at 1601 Beach Ave., Cape May, NJ. Sandy is the meticulous, behind the scenes worker, flawlessly executing all of our designs. With Dompierre as her second career, Sandy can sew, upholster and fabricate any project she is given.

As a young girl, Rosalind would sew on her grandmother’s push-pedal machine designing and making doll clothes. By the age of twelve she upholstered her parent’s sofa and a love seat as a gift for their anniversary. To all around her, it was all too apparent that she was not going to stop there and for 47 years, Rosalind has worked professionally in the trade. For 15 years, she owned and operated an upholstery business in Bridgeton, NJ. From there she became a member of the Carpenters Union. For the next eight years she worked in the Atlantic City casino industry utilizing her upholstery and woodwork refinishing expertise. During this period, she met and married her husband and the couple went on to open their own upholstery business. Rosalind enjoys the creativity and challenges the trade offers. She is a master fabricator but considers window treatments and upholstery her favorite vocation. She offers a wealth of knowledge and is an energetic team member.

A true renaissance man, Terry is known for his energy, enthusiasm and his ability to do just about anything you ask of him. This is a man that never sits still. Terry retired after 37 years working as a letter carrier for the United States Post Office. He is an award-winning brewer and has been dedicated to brewing and sharing craft beer for over 20 years. Terry is the go-to-guy when you are looking for a solution to a problem. He loves to be challenged. A favorite expression of his is, “I’m just trying to build a better mouse trap.” This attitude is a prefect fit at Dompierre. As an installer, there is no window to high, no corner to tight and no job that isn’t appreciated as a team effort.

Pete & Dillon manage their humans with hugs and loves daily.  They do particularly well posing in showroom photo shoots.
